Bohinj resort is situated at an altitude of 550 m, on the picturesque shore of glacial Lake Bohinj, surrounded by the Julian Alps, 80 km north of the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana. The whole resort area is included in the National Park – Triglav park. It is also the highest peak of the Slovenian Alps – Mount Triglav (2863 m).
During the summer, Bohinj resort attracts lovers of quiet, contemplative outdoor recreation (clean air, beautiful scenery, silence), as well as those who are engaged in active sports. Here you can engage in mountaineering, rafting, canyoning, paragliding, paragliding, etc.
In summer the water in the lake warms up to 24 degrees Celsius, which makes it possible to swim and sunbathe. In the resort come fishing lovers. The fish can be caught both in the lake and on the Soca River, which flows into Bohinj.

Bohinj – an ideal place for skiing professionals and beginners. The season usually lasts from December to April. In winters with little snow snow cannons are used extensively.
Bohinj ski area combines several ski centers, the most significant of which – Vogel (5 km away) and Kobla (7 km away). Small hotels type “chalet”, located around the lake, do not disturb the beauty of untouched nature of this truly magical place.
