Bayonne – a city and municipality in Spain, part of the Pontevedra province in the autonomous community of Galicia. The municipality is a part of the region (comarca) Vigo.

Bay of Biscay – a part of the Atlantic Ocean, located to the north of the Iberian Peninsula, washes the shores of Spain and France, and extends from Galicia to Brittany. The bay is approximately triangular in shape, the total area of 223 square kilometers, the length of 400 km, an average depth of 1715 m, maximum – 4735 meters.

The Bay of Biscay is the glory of the most unpredictable and mysterious place. There are often fogs, indented coast cliffs and abrupt weather changes a life-threatening. Because they are formed deep craters or waves, reaching a height of 25 meters. They have called the killer waves. Therefore, cross the Bay to be difficult even for an experienced navigator.
