Resita is a city in Western Romania, the administrative center of the County Karash-Severin. A major industrial center and transportation hub.
Resita is considered as the second largest industrial center of Romania. Resita is an important centre of the automotive industry and steel production. The former steel Mill owned by Russian Pipe Metallurgical Company TMK and after the upgrade produces billets. The city developed heavy engineering (equipment for the electricity, oil, metallurgical, Metalworking industry), chemical industry, food industry, production of building materials.
