South Butovo – an area in Moscow, located in the South-West Administrative District, as well as the corresponding same name intracity municipal unions. South Butovo is the second area of the territory of the Moscow region after region Metrogorodok.
The street is named April 8, 1994 in honor of the famous Russian commander, the hero of the Russian-Turkish War, Mikhail Dmitrievich Skobelev.
