The sights of Haarlem starts literally from the train station. It was repeatedly reconstructed, and the last time was in the art Nouveau style that made the ordinary building a real monument of architecture.
Next in the list of historical objects listed market square the Grote Markt mandatory for all European cities of city Hall, the monumental Cathedral of St. Bavo. Do not confuse it with the Gothic St. Bavo Church (aka the Church of Sint Bavo, she’s the Grote Kerk), where there is a huge body, which at the time was playing Mozart, Handel and Liszt. Attention, by the way, deserve both buildings. In the same way as the Church of St. Anna, the Villa Welgelegen, mill Hadrian, the Amsterdam gate, St Elizabeths hospital, is now a historical Museum.
