Live video stream of Campo Santa Maria Formosa, Venice, Italy from Ruzzini Palace Hotel.
Santa Maria Formosa is located at a short distance from Rialto and San Marco, but here are a few tourists. It blends harmoniously into the landscape of the area.
Spacious campo (square) is located at a short distance from Rialto and San Marco, but here are a few tourists. It blends harmoniously into the landscape of the area of the same name church.
Campo Santa Maria Formosa – it’s a beautiful area to Kaslello. Is named after the eponymous magnificent church Santa Maria Formosa. Area quiet. Tourists are scarce. Many restaurants in the area.
Cross Piazza Venezia. It not accidentally called formosa! There is good on a sunny afternoon – then you can sit in the sun for Aperol.
It so happened that all the time we somehow found themselves in this area – and took to her unwittingly, and from different sides … It is always crowded, where there is a snack, you can take a look at the life of local residents.
The lively shopping area in the Castello district, where rises the beautiful Renaissance church. Here you can spend time and relax.
The area of Santa Maria Formosa, in the midst of which stands the church of the same name – is one of the largest areas of the Castello district. There are hotels, cafes and restaurants, a small market, souvenir trays, small shops and, like any Venetian square, an ancient well. In the area are several bridges over the canals.
One of my favorite areas in Venice. Not small but some nice and quite homely. It can be a long time to sit in the square, a peace descends into the soul that does not want to get out of here
Castello – the largest of the six districts (sestieri), and the only one who does not have access to the Grand Canal. Much of the region is located in the naval base of Arsenal, which occupies one-fifth of Venice. Updated seaside district of Castello creates the impression of a noisy, but very democratic place. In the alleys of the Castello has a relaxed atmosphere, and the channels under the linen hung small boats ply.
