Sibenik is one of the most picturesque cities in Central Dalmatia. Founded in 1066, it has a number of very famous monuments of history and culture — the Cathedral of St. James with a height of 31 meters, the fortress of St. Anne, “rector’s Palace”. The narrow winding streets of the Old town, ancient buildings, bridge of stone, polished by centuries turned this wonderful city into a Museum under the open sky.
Sibenik hard to attribute to the resort towns. Rather, this city is ideal for holidaymakers who like a lot of fun. People come here to go diving, swimming, yachting, and hunting.
