Nieuwpoort — the port city and the eponymous municipality on the North sea in Western Flanders (Belgium). The old town is 3 km from the sea coast, the modern resort buildings — at the junction of the sea, the isère river. Through the Newport is the coast line of the tram.
Newport is a fishing village and famous seafood. The beach is 2 kilometers South from the village. In the town more attractive and modern apartment than in other coastal towns, and beautiful traditional white houses with orange tile roofs.
