Augustenborg is an old Danish town. Like most Danish cities, it is small. Its population of about 3.5 thousand inhabitants. We visited it during a vacation the island of Als.
After two trips to Germany and Legoland – we decided that more go far will not, and will confine ourselves to explore the island to enjoy the charm of provincial Denmark. The guide recommended visiting the local castle, if you can call a castle a Palace in the classical style, as a place where there was the most famous Danish – Andersen.
